Nature - you can't mess with it and you can't beat it either. Tuesday's weather went to prove that you can't mess with it. Heavy rain on and off, and even hail stones in Clapham which settled on the ground making it look like it had snowed. As I said to my mum, you wouldn't have believed it was July. July used to be warm weather but now you can't predict what it's going to be like. Goes to show that something somewhere has changed. Then in the evening the sun came out and a beautiful, glorious and bright rainbow appeared. And that is when you can't beat nature. At times it can be cruel, others it can be wonderful.
I have been on holiday this week and have been working hard on Stay. I am now up to Chapter 15 and thought I didn't have much left to revise after that but remembered that there was a chapter where Lottie walked along a sea front but can't do that now because I have changed the setting to Greenwich, which hasn't got sea but a park. I really want to get it all done, polished and printed by the end of the month so I can send it to the NWS when I'm on holiday again. I would do some more over the weekend but I am off tomorrow to the RNA conference in Leicester. I can' t wait and can't believe that it's come so quickly, and no doubt go quickly as well. Will write all about it when I come back next week.
Well, until after the conference. Bye for now.
